Yarding: 38850 (-250) Overall numbers remained fairly steady this week, although lambs showed an increase. There were 15,750 new season lambs penned and quality was mixed.
Yarding: 5970 (-330). Numbers declined marginally, due to the larger offering the previous week and the anticipation of rain. Secondary cattle were well supplied, with lot feeder competition very strong across all well-bred lines above 400kg.
Number lifted this week and quality continued to be mixed. There were both well finished and plainer pens on offer, with a larger percentage of the yarding being heavyweight cattle.
Lamb numbers remained steady and quality was good, with the new season lambs improving in condition and showing plenty of finish. The old grades were also well presented and there were mainly trade and heavyweights penned, with 7,300 new seasons offered.
