Street Seen

18 Dec, 2011 02:00 AM

WHO CHARLOTTE HAIGUE, 23

I AM working in childcare.

I AM WEARING a skirt, top, shoes and necklace from Gorman. My watch is from WeWood in Florence.

MY STYLE IS very '70s. I love loose-fitting tops and skirts.

I ADMIRE THE STYLE OF Agyness Deyn; she's edgy and her hairstyles always look great.

MY FAVOURITE LABELS Gorman - I like the patterns, fabrics and simple designs. Dinosaur Designs are great for jewellery and they have chunky, bright colours.

MY FAVOURITE PLACE TO SHOP IS Kinki Gerlinki because the patterns are usually pretty cute. Mostly I like to shop for vintage at places such as Lost & Found on Smith Street and Chapel Street Bazaar.

MY BIGGEST FASHION MISTAKE WAS a nightie that I wore out. I thought I could get away with it as a dress but I couldn't - it was definitely sleepwear.

WHEN I WAS A KID I used to dress up as Sleeping Beauty with a pink cardboard cone princess hat. I also had Minnie Mouse ears.

I WOULD NEVER BE CAUGHT DEAD IN a halter-neck top; they make my shoulders look very big. But a nightie is on the top of my list of what not to wear out.

Last week's StreetSeen subject, Nick Palandri, was mistakenly described as a barrister and poet. In fact, he is a barista and poet.
