Celebrating a united rural voice

10 Jul, 2008 12:28 PM
Since 1978, the NSW Farmers’ Association has been the united voice for all farmers in this State.

This year we are celebrating a 30 year commitment to protecting the interests of New South Wales farmers, agriculture and rural communities.

We’re only three weeks away from the biggest event on the Association calendar, where more than 400 farmers, representing each district and region in NSW, set the Association’s direction for the following 12 months.

The NSW Farmers’ Association Annual Conference will also be an opportunity to celebrate and reflect on the Association’s milestones.

We will pay tribute to many of the Members who have helped build the Association and we will celebrate the future of our State’s agriculture.

The 30 Year Anniversary Annual Conference will have a number of highlights including the announcement of Farmer and Young Farmer of the Year, the Awards Dinner, the Young Farmers Forum and Regional Food Fair.

This year, wool will also be showcased with several fashion parades to be held during the food fair.

Annual Conference promises to be a worthwhile experience for all delegates heading to Sydney and I look forward to joining them for this historic occasion.

The NSW Farmers’ Association Annual Conference will be held from 29-31 July at Sydney Showground, Homebush.

Condobolin’s country music duo The Noll Brothers will be entertaining Association delegates at the Gala Dinner Event, Wednesday 30 July.
