British rapper Aggro Santos is standing trial to face allegations he raped a woman in 2010 after she rejected his advances.
The 23-year-old, real name Yuri Santos, was arrested in Chichester as cops investigated claims a woman was assaulted in a hotel room. He was subsequently accused of involvement in another incident in Somerset the previous September.
The Candy hitmaker pleaded not guilty to two separate counts of rape in January and he returned to court on Monday for the start of his trial.
During the hearing at Chichester Crown court, a police video interview with the woman involved in the alleged 2010 incident was played.
The female, who is in her 20s, recalled how she had consensual sex with Santos' manager but later rejected the star.
She claims Santos then pushed her onto a bed and raped her.
The woman did not initially report the alleged attack, but went to police with her claims after hearing of the 2011 allegations.
She says: "It made me really think about what he did to me. I can't deny I felt guilty (not reporting it at the time)."
Santos' friend, Tyrelle Ritchie, 21, will also appear in court after pleading not guilty to one count of sexual assault.
The trial continues.
