FOUR days of equine activities set the stage for a popular Easter weekend at Euberta in southern NSW.

Riders from throughout NSW and Victoria participated in barrel racing clinics with champion competitor Vicki Schiller of Harefield, plus they competed in a multi-event gymkhana and an Australian Barrel Horse Association (ABHA) day.

Fine weather set the stage for the event and there were plenty of opportunities for spectators to enjoy the fun and watch the popular “Trojan barrels” – an improvised barrel racing event – during the weekend.  One of the organisers, Kellie Hall of Trojan Events, said the weekend was a success and riders from Benalla to Sydney had taken part. The aim was to provide some diversity and allow competitors to participate in educational events and competitions too.
